Business economist and trained bank clerk with 25+ years in corporate IT – and an endurance athlete for over two decades. I understand both sides: how a business works commercially and how the technology behind it actually functions. And because I'm a triathlete, marathon runner, and road cyclist myself, I know your customers, your season, and your language. That's exactly the intersection where I work for you.

My Path

Thought through commercially, built technically.

I started out as a bank clerk at HYPO-Bank in Munich. While working, I went on to earn my qualifications as a business economist (IHK) and industrial specialist at the IHK Academy Munich. Numbers, processes, and how a business works commercially were my foundation from the very beginning.

Then came IT. For more than 25 years I worked at large tech companies and corporations: Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, Red Hat, and most recently Deutsche Bahn. I wasn't the one writing code – I was the one who brings sales, processes, and systems together. CRM administration, commission accounting, business analysis, product ownership.

That's the combination that makes the difference: I don't just see the technology. I see what your business gets out of it.

Sport is part of me

I know your world because I live in it myself.

Sport has always been part of my life. I started with gymnastics in 1991, added wrestling in 1998, and have been running since 2000. In 2008 I ran my first marathon in Munich, followed by Vienna and my personal highlight in 2014 in New York City. I took up triathlon in 2010, and in 2012 I reached one of my proudest goals at the Ironman 70.3 in Zell am See. For 2027 I'm planning my next marathon – and maybe finally a bike race.

Why do I share this? Because as a triathlete, marathon runner, and road cyclist, I buy and use exactly the products you make and sell: sportswear, gear, sports nutrition, and supplements for training and competition. I know your customers because I'm one of them – and I know your season because I feel it in my own body.

I bring that same mindset to your processes. In training, it's not one brilliant trick that counts – it's continuous improvement, small steps that add up over time. That's exactly how I look at your workflows: keep at it instead of quick shortcuts. And just as a season has its peaks, so does your business – your processes have to hold up when things get busiest.

In those corporations, I saw how much is possible when processes and systems work together cleanly. And I saw that this is exactly what small and mid-sized businesses often lack – not the ability, but the time and the right structure.
