Hi, I'm Saskia.

I left my safe corporate job because there was one sentence I couldn't stand to hear anymore: "That's how we've always done it."

I work with growing sports brands and specialty retailers in endurance sports. Business economist, former banker, over 25 years in enterprise IT, and an endurance athlete myself for two decades. I understand both sides: how your business actually works commercially, and how the tech behind it fits together.

My path

Built commercially, delivered technically.

I started out as a banker at HYPO-Bank in Munich. Alongside the job, I earned my degree in business administration (IHK Akademie Munich). Numbers, processes, and the question of how a company actually works commercially became my foundation from day one.

Then came IT. Over 25 years in major tech companies and enterprises: Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, Red Hat, and most recently Deutsche Bahn. I was never the one writing the code. I was the one who brought sales, processes, and systems together. CRM administration, commission accounting, business analysis, product ownership.

That's the combination that makes the difference. I don't just look at the tech. I see what your business actually gets out of it.

At some point, watching wasn't enough anymore. I gave up my safe job because I firmly believe your time is the most valuable thing you have. Too valuable to sink into admin quicksand. That's exactly why Tech it easily exists.

Sport is part of me

I know your world because I live in it.

Sport has always been part of my life. I started with gymnastics in 1991, added wrestling in 1998, and I've been running since 2000. In 2008 I ran my first marathon in Munich, then came Vienna and my personal highlight, New York City in 2014. I picked up triathlon in 2010, and in 2012 I reached one of my proudest goals: the 70.3 Ironman in Zell am See. For 2027 I'm planning my next marathon and maybe, finally, a road cycling race.

Why does that matter? Because as a triathlete, marathon runner, and road cyclist I buy and use exactly the products you make or sell. Sportswear, gear, sports nutrition, supplements for training and race day. I know your customers because I am one. And I know your season because I feel it in my own body.
